I’m just 1 person who works out daily and still needs more fitness motivation. Working out is definitely a habit for me, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to stop what I’m doing and give an hour of my time to this (with warm-up, cool down, and shower included).
This week, I mixed up the workouts between some of my old favorites and brand new ones. Boxing and kickboxing-style workouts are still my favorites, but dance workouts are great for racking up the steps in my daily step goals.
I have mixed feelings about The Class workout below. I really loved the breaks after intensity and the breathing incorporated throughout, rather than just at the end. But I also had a hard time keeping with some of the moves, and there was one that was particularly hard on my problematic knees. So it’s one I might try again on another day. But any workout that has jack-and-punch combinations is a winner in my book. Those are so much fun! And fun moves absolutely keep me motivated, especially on days when I don’t feel much like working out.
I’m also trying to get my total minutes back up over 200 for each week, after a few weeks of those minutes dipping down. I didn’t quite make it this week, but next week I hope to improve.
